BIO

Isaac Thomas is a critically acclaimed composer, pianist, conductor, and recording artist. He recently completed a six-week piano course through The Juilliard School with Dr. Michael Shinn (Chair of Keyboard Studies) and Kevin Ahfat (Juilliard Course Fellow) in April of 2017. He received his education at The University of Arkansas and John Brown University, and then pursued further studies in conducting, piano, and voice at Texas Wesleyan University and The University of Texas at Arlington.

He has the distinction of being commissioned to compose for The American Boychoir (Princeton, NJ) and The Bel Canto Company (Greensboro, NC). His choral composition "Lux Aeterna" (written in memory of the victims of the 1995 Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing) received critical acclaim. He also composed the piano accompaniment to the choral anthem “The Lord Emmanuel” (co-written with his high school choral director, Bill Burrows) which was performed at the White House for former President Bill Clinton by the Barbara Mashburn Singers.

Isaac served as the choir and orchestra conductor for contemporary christian artist Twila Paris (and special guest musician Fernando Ortega) on the final concert of her "True North" tour. He has several recordings available on iTunes and Amazon (and through all major digitial music retailers). He is member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) as well as the American Guild of Organists (AGO). Isaac is a native of Fayetteville, Arkansas and relocated to Virginia in 2014 by way of Dallas-Fort Worth, TX after living there for eleven years.
